Ten winners representing Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum's key markets worldwide duked it out over cocktails during the brand's International Bartender Showcase at Hope Gardens on Friday, October 22.

Having won the mixology and bartending competitions in their native countries, nine bartenders were flown to Jamaica to compete against The Rock's own St Aubyn Kidd â€" who won the local leg of the challenge last month â€" and participate in the two-hour showcase.

Following its summer hiatus, popular Italian restaurant Toscanini on the outskirts of Ocho Rios reopens tomorrow (Friday, October 15). And chef Pierluigi Ricci promises new and exciting menu options that are sure to tantalise guests.
